Default Does anyone have any tips on removing camshaft caps?

I've been at it for 2hours, been through 2 packs of smokes, soaked in sweat, and I've only managed to get a couple off without scratching the crap out of them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them off without scratching the shiz out of them? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Use a rubber mallet and just tap them for a while they should come loose.
