Yes, S2000's are rear wheel drive.

I believe it was hit in the rear. Whoever hit must have realized it at the last second and kinda steered to the left, thus leaving a "corner-like" dent on the car. The right front of the suspect must have hit. That's my guess.

Usually if you fishtail enough to that much damage in the rear, there will be lots of other damage elsewhere.

dude...thats NOTHING. i saw one where the whole left rear was crunched in. the damage stops RIGHT behind the driver seat. it was horrible.
