To hone or not to hone, that is the question. (h22a related)
I have heard from a few places now about not having to hone the cylinder walls..... http://www.preludeonline.com/s...=hone
and https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=405266 ....it seems quite a few people have been fine without honing the walls from preludeonline......it would seem that no matter how many miles are on the engine as long as the walls are not scratched up or scored....you can be fine with just replacing the rings.....if you use the same pistons........whats everyones take on this?

Guys. It really cant be this hard. If you have a helms manual then look throught it. Why Would honda make oversized pistons if they never intended the H22 to Not be bored/honed???? Answer me that, and by that time you will see that there is nothing wrong with honing the cyl walls.
It even says : Reboring limit 0.25mm (0.010)
SO... I say hone it, and put new rings in, and break it back in properly!
