integra dash and doorpanels


im getting a fume smell. like unburned gasoline..and my check engine light is on..what should i look at?

Any other symptoms? Is your car bogging, or running weird, like there's hesitation? You might be in some kind of limp mode?

 

how the hell did u get the integra door panels to fit on right? really interested to know how to do...

 

i had the same problem with my hatch, i could never figure it out

 

yes there is bogging when going form 1st to 2nd in high rpms, it hesitates for a second, almost like a stall.

 

by your ecu (passenger side floor (kinda)
theres a green plug
jump it with a wire or paperclip

are you running a cat?? if you are running a straight-pipe, it emits a gasoline smell that enters the cabin.....a catylitic converter will fix that.....maybe you guys have an exhaust leak???? check your exaust first

Mine used to have a check engine light too. I changed the cat and the O2 sensor. The CEL went away but the car still acts the same.

Nice seats, I used to have those.

 

You have to use the inner door skin off of the Integra and weld it in to the EG door shell. This will allow you to use Integra door panels.

My friend did it to his car.

im thinking he has a nasty exhaust leak somewhere.. ive seen the same problem in another car.. but could he be running REALLY rich?

 

do you have that rubber boot/seal over the hole where the shifter goes?

i had mine out, i could see the ground and i had a lot of fumes going in the car.....pulll out your center console where the shifter is and check that.....i have no idea why swapping dashes would throw a code

 

i like the car but i'm not much for leather. you can check your codes in my sign.

 

have you checked your charcoal canister?

 

Sounds like a timing problem.

 

damn everybody is jockin your door panels....LOL....how do you open your doors from the inside? is the handle connected? cuz i think the stock ones are a lil lower than the tegs.

you've apparently invested a considerable amount of time and/or money into your hatch..... NOW IT"S TIME TO GET A FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL.... FACTORY SERRRRRRVICE MANNNNNUALLLL. GET IT.. SHOE!!

with a hatch like that you should have known what CEL code you were throwing the first day it came on. GET THE BOOK.

when you find out which code you're throwing tell us which one it is and we may be able to advise you on what you should do.
