Default Alpine In-Dash DVD system.

Hello, I don't really have any experience with car audio. Today I was reading the paper and something caught my eye:

- Alpine Multi Media Control Station & DVD Player
- 6.5" Fully Motorized Colour LCD Monitor
- All Net Controls DVD, Navigation, CD
- Changer, Tuner, & More
- 40 Watts x 4, Triple Pre-outs & Subwoofer Control
- Factory Renewed? (CVA1005/DVA5205) What does this mean?

The price is $745.00 U.S. without taxes. Is this a good deal? Is this unit one of the better ones out there? Which units would be better?

It's a refurbished unit. One that manufacturer repaired, i've bought a couple of alpine refurbs and have had no problems with any of them yet. If it's the 1005 they retail for over 1000, so IMO i thinks it's a good deal. But if you search hard enough you can find them cheaper.
