Ive been shopping around local stores and Ive been getting anywhere from $750-900 Canadian for a stage 2 for my 95 LS...

Are they joking, or is this what they normally cost?

Buy an exedy clutch...you will definitely be happy...Plus they are fairly inexpensive...280.00 or so for the racing clutch.

Bully - $950
ACT - $800
Clutchmasters - $750

 

ACT is junk, dont bother, unless you like a hard *** clutch pedal, go with a clutchmasters, I have a stage 4 ready to go on, my buddy has a stage three, turbo setup, the clutch feels like a stock one,nice, doesnt slip at all, also depends on how much horsepower you plan to have you know(stage) I got my stage 4 for 4$485

 

do a search on ACT.. you might find out other peoples opinion. ^ definately entitled to your opinion but there are 100s on this board that think ACT is #1

 

I got ACT stage 3 clutch 6 puck and no complaints on the stiffness of the clutch.

Maybe the other guy has weak knees or something.
