WHAT SHOULD I DO? I/H/E OR CLUTCH, FLYWHEEL AND AEM?
IVE BEEN HEARING REALLY GOOD THINGS ABOUT A FLYWHEEL/CLUTCH COMBO, AND A SIMPLE BOLT ON, EITHER AN AEM OR EXHAUST AS OPPOSED TO HEADER, EXHAUST, AND AEM CAI. WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK?
I HAVE A 2001 GSR BY THE WAY. I FIGURE, THE PRICES SHOULD BE RELATIVELY THE SAME SO WHAT SHOULD I DO?

if you have a 2001, you have a really long clutch life ahead of you....i have a 96 and still running the stock clutch....when i do replace it i'm still gonna stick with stock (lets see how many aftermarket clutches last more than 5 years) and maybe a lighter flywheel.......if your were planning on clutch/flywheel and AEM, for what you would spend you would definetely yield better gains if you go with a type r AEM, skunk2 manifold and ITR or CTR intake cam..... you'd most definetely be in the 14's with this setup
Injen CAI, Apex GT header and lightweight(7-9lb) flywheel. You wont really need a new clutch, although it would help. An exhaust doesnt give enough of a gain at those power levels to justify the price or sound.
Keep in mind I would only do these if you only plan on doing boltons. If your future plans include turbo or SC then forget what I just recommended.
