i have a chance to get a barely used walbro 255lph fuel pump for a 92-95 civic and was wondering if it is a direct fit for my 91 hatch. any info would be great.

 

It's not a direct fit. You need the strainer for your hatch, and you have to modify the wires to attach to the terminals (different style)

 

is it worth the trouble or should i just wait and get one that is made for my car?
cause i really need the fuel pump and cant wait to order.

 

I'm using a 94+ Integra pump in my car... to get it to work right, I dropped the tank at least 9 times... so I'll tell you this: Make SURE you position the pump EXACTLY the same as the old one, with a strainer meant for your gas tank!

BTW: They don't make holley's for our cars...

Just make sure to do all the stuff I mentioned... btw, it's a really loud pump... that's how you know it's working right.
