Anyone want a 91 Integra?
I'm about to make a very smart decision. Car has to go this week, i guess i'm a "motivated seller".
Make me an offer.

The car runs great, would make a great beater or track ***** for someone.

Really? Interesting. You say you know a lot of CRX guys switching, anyone that has done well at a regional or national level in ITA? Very interesting if true.

While I think this would be a great answer for ITA and I can vouch for the appearance of RJ's car in particular, I would stop short of "lots" of CRX drivers making the switch.
I checked with the SCCA club racing office and they tell me that the answer to my EX in ITA request will appear in the August FasTrack: One way or the other, I will know more and by then, RJ will have sold my back up plan...
Someone needs to buy this car, finish stripping it, have a really nicely fitted cage installed and then lose interest this fall.
And IM me.

I'm picking up another car this week... this thing has seriously got to go.
Dad's been driving it the past week, he's a master tech - says car runs very well

I have heard lots of talk on improvedtouring.com of a lot of the west coast guys switching over and having much better results. I know it's only 1 weekend and a small sample but for a double header weekend up at NHIS last weekend 4 out of the top 5 qualifiers were 1st gen integras both days and the race results ended up pretty similar. I was just trying to help RJ out. Seems to be the trend though. I would love to build a 96-98 EX for ITA. It'll be interesting to see how competitive it will be. I wonder what the rules say on using hondata. I know they say it has to fit inside the ECU but are you allowed to wire the car over to obd1 or use the obd1 ECU's that has OBDII plugs that hondata uses? I have never heard talk of people doing that.
To stay on topic, Good luck with the sale!

You mean 2nd gen Integras. I run a 1st gen ('86) and there are very few of us in club racing, and with good reason. We're major underdogs in ITA, and SCCA is scared to have a competitive Honda product in ITB (remember the Accord?). Nearly the same weight as the 2g, lots less hp and torque, smaller brakes, solid rear axle and strut front suspension, the list goes on and on. A really good ITB car with little hope for a future in SCCA. Thank goodness for ECHC!
Seriously, I really wish I could buy this car. I have almost $8000 in my 1g, a couple grand more before it's truely fully developed, and really wish I could have found this car when I was looking for mine as my car was at about this same prep level when I bought it. I'll bet with the time and $$ I've spent, I could have had a front running ITA car if I'd started with a g2....
.RJ, I'll give you $1000 for it if you'll hide it from my wife at your place for the next couple of years until I convince her to let me build another car!

Since I have tried to convince people to by RJ's Acura, he won't mind if I highjack his thread for a sec...
stevel - the IT rules allow us to up- and back-date component assemblies, including wiring harnesses. Problem is, this has to be done only among models/years listed on the ITCS spec line of the car you are running: The OEM harness and box have to be used. I am counting on you for the technical expertise on this - being way behind the curve on this type of modification - so what can be done within these constraints?
Feel free to email or IM me so RJ can have his topic back.

Hey, mine was a serious offer!
Just hope you don't get that desperate, for your sake at least!
Damn I wish I was making more money.........If you still have this car 5 or 6 months from now I'll give you your asking price for it. But I'll bet it won't be around that long......
-Floyd, who dreams of someday actually being competitive in ITA.......

I believe i may have found another car - who knows, as indecisive as I am.
But my dad is tired of keeping it at his place for me and i'm tired of sitting on it.
I would consider a slightly lower offer. This is a ******* steal for someone.

The DA body 90-93 makes great ITA car and H4 car. It always runs in the top 2 . Here is a link of my car running at Hyperfest 7/13
http://www.villagephotos.com/v...65738
Its kinda heavy but all the torgue makes up for the weight. Its wider than any other car in ita or H4.

If its not gone by tuesday, its going in the washington post. I dare you to find a better deal on a DA integra.
