well i got a code 16 on my ecu (fuel injector/system problem). hondata led is steady. injectors ohm out fine and i get power to the harness at the injectors.. only thing left is to check it comming out of the ecu..
whats your thoughts... damn hondata setup so far has cost me over 1600 bux

Do u think that maybe teh socketing of the hondata and ecu would be bad, maybe cause it?

 

according to matt he says hondata cant fry your ecu..
i dont know but 1800 is way to much for this radio shack toy..

 

This isn't a Hondata problem. ECU's can go bad and do go bad for other reasons. You may be able to fix the ecu. You can probably find a dead p74 or p75 or even a p06 or a p28 and steal parts from them to fix the P72. Don't give up so easy. Just remember, you don't know how an ECU was treated in the first 8 or so years of it's life before you got it!
