Default Power steering pump

Hi, I have a 2001 4cyl accord rolling on 19x8.0 Wheels and a eich springs and tokico shocks setup. My problem is that when I turn my steering wheel it's hard like if my power steering pump wasn't working. Is there a sensor that activates the pump when i turn the steering wheel or is it my pump that's f***ed up? If the pump fried i'm thinking it's because of the wheel size. Is there a pump upgrade, or can i use the pump from the v6 or the TL/CL?

Thanks in advance for your help.

19" wheels with a drop. Hmm, you sure you're not rubbing?

But, to try and help you out further, check your belt for tension.

I would check to see if your tire is hitting anything in the wheel well before you say it's your p/s pump. What size are your tires?

I took the front wheels off and put the stocks back on. It's drop but i still have like two finger gap between the wheel weld and the tire. The belt is fine.
