Default Strader Performance East Coast/NJ Tunning Seminar is finally here!

Ok guys, after carefuly planning a perfect date and place for this long awaited seminar to take place, here it is!. I would first like to thank Mr Strader for giving us the opportunity to learn how to tune. Id also like to thank Art for giving me a hand with his advice(not the mention the following format), and Earl for the list of dates, hehe

Here is your chance to learn how to tune from the best!
EFI Tunning Seminar by Ben Strader.
September 20-21st @ Dannys Pro Performance. Keyport, New Jersey.

In order we need to get 10 paid confirmation to get this rolling. Prics is $300 and will include:
1)Basics of electronics
2)Tools and Equipment
3)EFI Overview
4)Base Tuning the EFI System/Calibrating the Base Fuel Map
5)Calibrating Maps on the Dyno
6)Understanding Injectors
7)Tips on making and installing your wire harness

Seminar package to include seminar work book and info pamphlet and some hands on dyno tuning on Sunday.

Info on Ben: "Ben is currently in the process of writing a how-to book called “How to build and Tune Custom EFI Systems” which will be published by Cartech S/A Design Publishing. The book will cover various topics on understanding and tuning fuel injection, along with an overview of nearly a dozen brands available on the market!”

Do you think the seminar is ok for someone who has no experience in tuning?

I do not tune my car, i have someone else tune it for me. Thats also why im holding this seminar. Not only will i be able to tune it after this seminar, or at least not be left in the dark, but i may be able to help others. i think its great to have the opportunity to learn from oneof te best. All people are welcome, if you have the basic knowledge of cars and how everything works, then you should be ok.

It was great! I would reccomend this for anyone who wants to learn to tune or even for someone who thinks they already know everything about tuning , Ben has alot of tricks you could only learn by coming to the class. Only thing is he didn't tell me how he makes the two step on mikes car so quiet oh yeh, and i cant forget it was fun too

Im in too. Too bad its so late in the summer, but better late then never as they say.

Is there any certain rules? As in, say if I wanted to video tape the class or record it with a tape device.

Let us know when payment is due by Ron.

Thanks so much for taking the initiative of setting it up for us in this part of the country.

I really think that this seminar will benefit everyone, noob or experienced. Ben is a real knowledgable guy and he can answer any questions u throw at him. He'll teach u the basics of how the engine works and how to apply a fuel management system to it. He will go over how to proper tune a car with good driveability and reliability, which most tuners leave out. When i came in there, i knew the basics of the motor, but he went it over with details that made alot of sense of how everything works together. I didnt go to the class to be a master tuner, i just wanted to know how everything works so i can apply it to my car. Hopefully in the future, Ben will have a more advanced seminar and i will be picking up his book when it comes out

I'm in IF this isn't a basic course. I tune my own stuff now but I learned it all
from trial and error. Sure would be nice to get some tips from a real pro!

Does this course lean towards one type of engine managment?
