There are a couple members here who have gotten 1,000 miles out of their 400+whp cars. Of course they have their fuel setup properly and were tuned.

even with the drag radials its just waste spin 1st only hook about top of second 2nd it kinda sucks making too much pwr on a fwd car. its just waste. i think it would be better for well balanced car than all out hp

I kinda wonder why no one can get traction. I know my set up is different but @ 240 torque to the ground w/ a gsr tranny and 205/50/15 bfg's I have no traction problems at all. 1st gear roll on it just hooks. 2nd gear I can only dream of breaking them loose. if torque is what spins the tires I would think you guys making the same torque would have the same traction.

maybe I should ask, how many of u 400whp guys are having problems w/ traction on BFG drag radials?

i think 400hp would be around 330 ft lb of torque i guess with even bfg they will probably spin first at least after that i am pretty sure it will grab

I just got home from the beach, and i drive mine, no biggy... doesnt mean i beat on the car tho. Reason being is the car is no fun till about 90mph, when the smoke clears, and the tires quit spinning. Just be gentle, leave the beat downs for he track

I made 230whp the last time I dynoed and riding in my car compared to my friends FWD eclipse is day and night....he makes about 350-360whp. even on the 18's he had last year it still spun well into 3rd gear if he wasn't careful. honestly he had 555R's on his stock wheels and just some decent radials on his 18's and at the track there really wasn't any difference in times.

400whp on a b-series 81mm is very common these days. And if it's built right it will last a pretty decent amt of time. c16 tends to be pretty expensive so i lower the boost to 1 bar and run on 94 octane.

Overbored b-series motors can easily get 400whp.

300whp is plenty for the street esp. with a t4 turbo.
