Those things often set FTD in the DC region

Or you could put most of your interior back in, put on a freeflow cat and go play in SM, not an easy task either, but a bit more appropriate. Whatever class, just go and have fun, and learn, you won't be sorry. Then once you get a better feel for the sport, pick a class and either go deeper with mods to match the prep level, or scale back, whichever applies.
Just a fellow dumb hybrid owner, wishing he had a 89 stock motor Si instead of a 91 with a B16
STS sounds like fun

No need for the cat in Street Mod, but the interior would have to be reinstalled (except back seat may reamin out). With it gutted, it's into D-Mod, where you will run against crazy Lotus and other crazy stuff.
well, some of the interior cant be put back in because of the welded in roll bar. guess ill just have to have my *** handed to me. but hey, im only doing it to improve myself as a driver. i really dont care if i come in dead last. im sure it will be a blast.

Cutting up the interior to make it fit is acceptable. Just remove the smallest amount possible.

No sense worrying about classing until you're sure it's a hobby you want to take seriously. Just have fun and work on the driver at first.
