Default Mobil 1, Quaker State, Castrol GTX, or Redline??

Hi guys, just want your opinion on what synthetic oil is best to use for my 1999 CDM Type-R?? What are your best/worst experiences?? I'm due for my oil change soon, so I wanted to know what was the best, and most efficient one around. I usually put in Quaker State, but performance, and smoothness is minimal, and I'm thinking of switching over.

what gives you that idea... i've been using Quaker State for 65K miles - plain dyno oil.. i guess every brand has their own recipe..
i dont know if it makes a difference, i just use the same oil that was used from first oil change.
