I am thinking about getting a new ep3( my damn eg is broke and I need a car asap cheap as well). I remember dealers letting these car go for pretty cheap. Lowest I have seen is 19k. How do you guys get the price down. And if I could get them to get it down would they still give me the 1.9 apr special. Thanks

Just picked Mine up this morning,17920..not a great deal but not bad either.They did throw in Mud guards and wheel locks and a Rear mat for the trunk..wooohoo

19k is damn expensive for a new EP. I got mine for about $15500.

 

How do you guys get them down...is it just that I am 20 and young that they jerk me around... should I just tell them I know they are going for ____ this price so I want one around the same??? Also are these 2002 or 2003...if I got them to lower the price do you think they would still give me the 1.9?

I'm in socal and i got my EP for 16.8k from carsdirect.com. Their rep. was really friendly and helpful. 16.8k + floormats + lo-jack + taxes + etc... = 18.8k

here in va i ve seen a used ep go for 14.7K and it was still sitting on the lot..for a new one i wouldnt pay more than 16.8 here in southern virginia

 

just walk in and tell them up front:
"I'm not paying more than $1X,000, you wanna sell a car today or not?"

i got my black 03 last month for $17000. it seems like if you can find a left over(new) 02 for around 15 to 16. good luck
