Default AEM cold air intake voiding any warranty?

I am going to put in my new AEM cai and i was just wondering what part of the warranty, if any, will it void? I have a 2002 accord coupe and honda warranty, obviously. Thanks

it won't unless you hydrolock you stuff.

Bolt-ons dont void warranty as far as i know.

i dont think that it will void the warrenty cause my dad sells cars and he has a newer neon that has intake on it and it still has warrenty but then again i am talking about dodge so the wattentys are proly diffrent

no bolt on will void warranty unless it is determined that it is the cause of a problem. Example CAI won't void warranty if your radiator leaks.

What happens if your intake hydrolocks? Will your insurance still cover the motor or does the money come out of my pocket?

really depends on the insurance. My buddy hydrolocked his teg last year and the insurance covered the new engine.

Or you can remove the air intake and put back the stock one whenever you need service at the dealer.

it's bolt on, i called honda's headquarter before, thank you for sharing another piece of false information

sometime insurance will, sometime dealer would, but most of the time,it's gonna be out of your ****
