Exhaust scrape...
i had a 97 civic coupe and a 92 civic hatch with exhausts on it and i never scraped it on the road wile driving... however with my 2001 prelude, i have a greddy evo exhaust... and for those who have it the mid peice and tailpiece connecting gasket area where they bolt together hangs seriously low... at first i didn't give a hoot, but lately with all these pot holes i've been hitting them like crazy... do all prelude exhaust hang so low where the last piece and mid peice connect??? and i thought about welding a spoon shaped peice of steel so the joint doesn't hit hard and break off... anyone else have this problem????
anyway, also, i've been looking for the m type wing for the prelude 5th gen.. .looks like the flushmount from ww... holla if u know wher ei can get one!

preludes have a natural aggressivly low stance. thats why it hits. i had my old crx slammed and didnt have a problem with ground clearance. my prelude on the other hand has just a slight drop and i have problems keeping my front end from bottoming out on hills.
good luck. maybe raise you car a hair. ive noticed that making your tires tuck into your fender wells causes your downpiping some trouble. try to bring it up alittle and your problems should be fixed.

Elkins: preludes are low, but my problem is with the exhaust... the part where the mid peice and end piece come together at the joint... it goes under the rear right control arm as supposed to civics and integras where it goes over... and since the prelude 5th gen goes under, that **** scrapes.. my car isn't dropped low... is this like anyone elses ride? i kno it must be like this for greddy evos, but any other people have problems like this? how u fix it? u read my spoon shaped peiceo f metal idea??? anyway here's a pic of my ride to show u its not low
