Default Just bought Zex kit today....

I just bought my Zex nitrous kit today. It says I need a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator-would an AEM one be ok? Also....should I run diff spark plugs w/ it like the ones zex sells or are the ones in there ok? Oh yea...am i gonna need to retard my timing at all?

you cant manually controll timing..
colder plugs = good investment(ngk have those too, cheaper than zex)
B&M FPR will do the job for half of the price of aem's...

B&M doesn't make one for my car. Atleast thats wut the sales rep at summit racing told me. And it wasn't listed in his lil booklet. I know i cant manually control the timing, I meant should I invest in a MSD ignition like the SCI Ignition?

Yes you can get the B&M fuel pressure all you have to do is make sure your stock regulator has NR-1 and then call summit and order one for a civic its the same thing they really are universal to all Honda's

Yes you need to change your spark plugs....i recommend ngk's but go 2 steps colder (way cheaper and safer than the zex plugs) retard your timing only if your gonna run a 65 shot (retard 2 degrees) or a 75 shot (retard 4 degrees) any thing else you need help with let me know

If you want a good 1:1 FPR, the Aeromotive A1000-6 is an awesome unit.
$120.00 shipped from here: http://www.jdsperformance.com

Yes, you'll want to get colder heat range plugs. Just go to Autozone and ask for NGK plugs for your car, 2 steps colder.
