thermal wrap the drag 3 manifold and downpipe?
i was thinking of using the thermal wrap on the intake pipe (to the turbo) and then on the piping to the throttle body, this would cool the air going into the the engine. if anyone has any info on this setup please let me know
you want the manifold as hot as possible so and the downpipe as cool as possible. So what most people do is wrap the manifold and leave the dp. I rather not do either of the above. I am fan of getting the manifold jet hot coated to keep the thermal heat inside.
Wrap keeps the manifold too hot, it can induce heat related cracking and warping. Jet Hot coatings are great, they keep the heat out of the manifold.
