Default a 1.5 inch drop

I'm planning on getting ground controls, i wannna do a 1.5 inch drop, is that low enough that i'll need to get a camber kit? If not i'd prefer not to get one.

Well with a 1.5" drop you could also go with a spring/shock combo (ie. Eibach Prokit+a shock of your choice). Unless you are looking for the adjustability that the coilover offers. A rule of thumb is that camber remains stock at stock ride height. So, yes your camber will change but with just a 1.5" drop you will most likely not need a camber kit. Bear in mind that every car is different, but the majority of people will not need a camber kit for that minor drop. The drop will give you a little negative camber which is good and not negative enough to generate premature wear on the inner edges of the tire.
