88 hood on 87 crx si

i have a friend how has an 87 crx si and he was wanting to know if u could fit an 88 hood on it cause the 88 hood is pretty much the same but the front grill is conected to the hood. so if u could. if anyone knows? ??

i agree vap...i have seen those 87 crxes and they have some pretty short hoods....please confirm someone...
