My moms giving me her 92 accord lx sedan (auto) as a beater to drive around since I sold my DSM, and I noticed that the steering wheel is real loose, and isnt responsive at all. It gets to the point that i could twitch and the steering wheel will make the car swerve. Is there anyway to set the steering so that the steering wheel responds better? Ive driven many cars and this doesnt really feel like a normal bad handling car, it seems like something needs to be fixed.

could be the tie-rods (dangerous).

 

180k, my mom took it to honda and they did a full check and said it was ok, but the steering has sucked for prob the past 20k miles or so, I havent driven it much.

 

have them do a raod test, and tell them to check the tie-rods, steering rack, bushings, and wheel bearings.
