Default JDM vs USDM h22

how do i figure out if my h22 is JDM or not. you guys said the speed governer cuts off around 120 right? besides that, are there engine markings anywhere or a different code to look for on the ecu???

US H22A = H22A1, H22A4

JDM H22A = H22A

i thought the a1, a4 or lack there of at the end of your engine code was how you could determine this. for example h22a1=usdm, h22a=jdm or something like that. i'm not sure but i do remember reading something like that.

edit: i guess poision beat me to it.

jdm has slightly higher compression: 10.6 to 1

i believe lsd was an option

200 HP at 6800 RPM.

If you have the M2A4 tranny, there is no LSD

If it's the M2B4, you have LSD.

i have a header.... maybe i should get everything else as well. been thinking about trying to stay away from all the bolt on though. cops here in socal are jerks about street racing.
i agree that vafc would be alot better after bolt ons though.
