Hyperfest Strategic Plan
I bet you all thought this would be my plan on how I'm going to win the Hyperfest race. Wrong. This is just the plan for how I'm going to have the car done and get there! So...
Tuesday June 24th - drop off Jeep to get wiring for trailer lights and brakes done, install new header on racecar.
Wednesday June 25th - pick up Jeep, possibly install short pipe on Civic.
Thursday June 26th - tow Civic to shop for graphics.
Monday June 30th - guy comes down to tune Hondata at shop for graphics, pick up car from graphics and tunings, drop off for intake and gauge install.
Tuesday July 1st - pick up Civic from intake and gauge install.
Wednesday July 2nd - change oil, flush brake fluid, change pads.
Thursday July 3rd - hopefully nothing.
Friday July 4th - drive to Summit.
Saturday July 5th - hope like hell everything works and the suspension isn't too far out of whack.

just curious...if you can manage an oil change and header install, couldnt you manage a minor install like an intake and a couple gauges?
hell, that would free up your schedule right there if you asked me...of course, you didn't
I would tell you to forget the 'graphixx' too, but it is hyperstunnafest after all...

I started to do the intake, but ran into a problem, so I'm letting the shop take care of it for me. It isn't a regular intake, it replaces the passenger side headlight. I've done regular intakes before. I'm terrible with things like the gauges.

Graphics are permanent numbers, class, etc. It is also my sponsor info, and if they are paying me, their names should be on the car for the event with the most spectators....

im just inquisitive today i guess....but is this considered 'alteration of the factory bodywork'
i have been trying to talk one of your fellow racers into letting me fab a 'lil something' up for his show queen race car (
guess the racer) and I was under the assumption that this may be illegal, therfore I didn't proceed. but if we can....

good enough for me...if your getting $$ out of it, by all means.
nick, who would like to enter his 'daily POS' into the summit 'rice contest'...i think with the addition of some washer nozzles i would have a great chance at the 500 dollar prize

From section 3.9.4, "Hybrid Chassis and Body Preparation"

I'm waiting for the person who removes the headlight to cool ONE of their front brakes. That would be interesting!
