what do u think id run, the 1/4mile with a fully built sohc vtec and a t3/t4 turbo or bigger in a eg hatchback, boosting 20-30 or watever ?
something like this or bigger

im not down with this homemade tubo setups that cost around 1grand to do

It could run 10's the correct chassis, but really this qiestion is way too broad like others have stated.

do a search in the archives under "sohc turbo" - there is a guy who went 11.8 on a stock motor @16psi with a t3/t04e-he boosted 22psi a week or 2 later and the motor went BOOOOM!!!! have fun

 

in my car that motor will probably run a 10 so bring it over

 

unless you can get that motor to rev to 9k that big turbo will never make that kind of bost on that little motor. stock rev limit on a 1.5 is 6500 rpm i would say that turbo will not spool until 4500 rpm. that would make for crapy bottom end power and then just when it starts to make power the 1.5 would not be able to rev any higher.

Hell Bisi here on H-T and D Series.org had a 1.5L non-VTEC SOHC running high 10's in the 1/4 mile in his drag CR-X.

His new set-up is a SOHC non-VTEC F22A Accord engine and it is running 10.2 and is the World's Fastest All-motor Honda right now - period. I said fastest, not quickest. Erick Aguilar is the quickest with a 9.99 with a 2.4L DOHC VTEC, but his trap speeds are lower seeing as how he busted a 1.34 60 footer!

Bisi is my main man. Ive been interested in the Sohc Turbo setup myself.

 

RPM Motorsports in Killeen, TX had a 10 sec FI 1.6 SOHC non-vtec before they sold the car about three years ago. Now he's co-owner of Deepstage Motorsports. Go to http://www.deepstagemotorsports.com, e-mail them and ask for ***** because that was his crx. I dont know if he'll tell you anything but its worth a try.

 

comon guys i said FULLY BUILT, darton sleeves, pistons, rods, cams, retainers, springs, valves, EVERYTHING.....
would i not need to boost 20-30 psi ?
im looking for a racer setup, i dont know how to explain, ive read peoples and what they done, its not much just a stock block with small turbo and 15psi

 

why dont you do a couple things, do some research, pick out what stuff you want to do, then ask and go to the track. what you want to know depends on alot of stuff
