some punk or punks just smashed my passenger window some time after midnight yesterday. i think its the same people who stole my autometer tach and gauges, tool kit, and tried to pry out my doubledin deck but failed. ever since the first incident i started to go sleeper, pulled off my 16" enkei's in favor of stock steels, replaced my tanabe rm with stock exhaust, civic lx gauge cluster, and more discrete location for autometer guages and shift lite. i thought this was cool but now this happened and im thinking about ditching honda and getting a non-honda car thats fun to drive and looks good in stock trim. hondas always seem to be prey. what do u people think about my dilemma? im pissed. i just wanted to vent some of my thoughts and see what u guys might suggest. thx for reading this.

 

I feel your pain man. Whether its rice or jdm, I appreciate what people have done to their cars and the time and money they invested in it. Other people don't have that same respect; and yes they are punks. If your wanting a fun car to drive, get a first gen 240sx. They are rear wheel drive, very fun over a ff. They lack a little power, but a turbo will handle that. Plus, not very many people are interested in them. My friend had one, and let me say it was fun as hell to drive. Sorry to here about your problems, just don't give up the hobby!

My **** was smashed and stolen last week, so I'm pissed too. You don't need a Honda to have fun, there are plenty of fun quick cars out there that are cheaper then Honda anyway.

punk b!tches! i too was vandalized ...twice. first time someone keyed my hood from left to right. the next time someone tried to steal my radio in front of my buddy's place. tried... my alarm was goin off so we caught the *****-f!@ker and made a citizen's smackdown, i mean arrest until the 5-o showed up. it feels bad when u get vandalized like that but you shouldnt be discouraged it what u should drive. if you want to drive a honda , phucken drive one. those punks are just jealous they cant have a car like yours and have to lower themselves below **** to steal.

Here they have a law where if you catch a thief in the act, you cannot hold him or do anything, because if the person feels like his life is threatened, the thief can actually file a law suit against you for endangerment! The "civil liberties" laws are kinda jacked, I mean, if you want to keep your civil liberties intact, dont go steelin other peoples ****.

 

i feel all your pain and then some...a few months agot someshithead kicked in both my 1/4 panels, and driver side door. They also keyed the whole passenger side..from the taillight to the front fender. Over 2K in damage
But i just got my car back from the shop...all dents fixed, new paint, and a full body kit. So psyched, yet worried about another incident, so my next paycheck is gong towards a phat baseball bat to keep in the trunk. If someone touches my car i will KILL them.

 

get a wooden bat, they dont make sounds when bouncing off bones and skulls, and they wont dent on hard objects like metal bats......

My beast has had it's sounds taken 3 times, and been stolen and recovered twice, one time when it was parked inside my garage. They were using it to courier all my stuff they had burgled.

The last time my sounds got taken, they took my ex's mobile phone as well, and started sending me some dodgy text messages. I found out who they had called from the mobile telco, got the address of their mate (who happened to be a stolen car-stereo dealer) who they'd called, figured they would show up sooner or later and had a description of them from some witnesses, called my boys and went round and gave them a good old fashioned beat-down before calling the cops on the way out . No-one, and I mean no-one, ***** with my car and gets away with it for a third time....

 

I remember seeing somewhere a guy who had installed a flamethrower under his car as sort of an "anti-burglar" system. Went off when the car moved or something. Effective, but not too sensible...hehe.
