GS
i got $12,000 to spend on a car i really wanted to get a integra gsr or prelude vtec but they are really rare and when you find them they have a grip of miles and have been raced and abuse, so im thinking about a integra gs,ls or a prelude si 94-96 what do you guys think would be faster 94+ integra gs,ls or a 94-96 prelude si and whats a better overall choice

Back in the days... my friend w/one of the first 4th gen Si 5-spd used to take his car to the track with us. After, I/H/E/straight-pipe, and his car stripped down to the driver's seat w/no AC and PS, he ran a 15.1 w/a lot of practice. w/75 shot dry, he was running 13.8's. All on stock Michelins.
Also back in the same days... another friend w/a GSR and I/H/E/full interior used to run 16.0's. Another friend w/a '93 B17 GSR w/I/H/E/Straight-pipe used to run 16.2's. These are all relatively stock so just thought I'd enlighten you.

I've seen numerous runs out of both of these cars.
Prelude Si is a mid 15 second car.
The LS or GS is a high 15 second car... maybe even 16.0 flat.
While the Prelude weighs a touch more, it also has a bigger motor, more torque, and more horsepower.
Fact vs. Fact... a Prelude Si will be a stronger car.
Opinion? I'll never own an Integra. 4th gen Prelude all the way.

i`ve owned both a 94 Integra LS, and a 93 Lude SI. The lude is faster, torquier, and handles better. The integra has more aftermarket support but i woudlnt let that be the deciding factor. The only thing i liked better about the integra was that it had more space but if you`re not worried about that, the lude would be the better choice.
