about gettin into autocross where do i start

i am interested in gettin into it how do i get started do i need to go to school just let me know what i have to do thanks

find your local region, go to the next event and hang out and ask the registration 'peeps' show you around and have them put you in a car for some ride alongs. They'll be able to give you some pointers and get you started

Since you're in NJ, http://www.autox4u.com is the best site in the area for the Northeast and will easily be able to point you in the right direction.
