Are any one else's camber kits real crunchy, i have the Ingalls Camber Kit and i have tried spraying it with everything, and it makes the most annoying crunching sound. Anyone have this problem or know how to shut it up?please help me out
First off what type of bushings do you have, polyurethane or rubber. Second, this crunching sound beats the squeaking that most people have. Your problem sounds like you have been collecting dirt/dust between the bushings which is normal. You cannot expect dirt not to collect down there, but before trying to lube the bushings, try cleaning them by spraying them down with water.
Then the lube that is most effective in getting rid of the squeaking sound is called Wurths HHS2000. This will stop the squeaking and should be reapplied every 6 months, but like I said, try cleaning them out and see how that works and then lube them up to prevent this sound from coming back. The lube should be effective in not allowing dirt to stick between the bushing

well i'm not sure if they are rubber or poly, i had them installed and never got to look at them, i don't even know what they look like. But they crunch like terrible. Where can i get that stuff u had recommended? And what exactly do i spray. give me something to look for if u can. thanks
I'm sorry to say, but if you have Ingalls camber kits, most likely they are polyurethane. You will need to take them out and lube the bushings from the inside with greece. All the lubricant that you spray on now in the world can't do anything since the bushings and the metal peices are so tightly packed together. (Confirmed with a salesperson from Ingalls that I talked to) I had the same problem for about 6 months. I lubed them almost everyday with everything that everyone recomended. Nothing worked. They always came back.
So I took them out, and cleanded the hell out of them and just stuck Mobil 1 greece inside and out. And I must say it was the most satisfying fix I ever did to my teg since I bought it. It has been about 4 months now since I lubed it up with greece and still no squeeks or crunching sounds. Once in a while if I go up a reall steep driveway you can hear it slightly but nowhere as bad as before.

i have the rubber one, and yeah, its squeaking like hell.
and, do you also notice a small lump or dent on the cars frame where the camber kit was installed?
its like a small dent but facing upward, and i have it on both side of the car where the camber was installed.
it likes a couple of inches away from the bolts.
is this bad for the car?

I have those same dents from the camber kits. It's cuz the camber kit just pushes out the control arm too far out and when u bottom out or come close to it the control arm hits the upper part of the fender causing the dent.
I've had that now for almost a year, no adverse effects yet.
