tips and on cleaning ITR suede interior
what type of cleaners are you R-owners using on your interiors? I haven't noticed much cleaners out there for suede and I didn't want to go spraying on regular interior cleaner. I know that 3M makes some kinds of protectants and water proofing sprays but that's not really a cleaner. Pls share your cleaning secrets!
it's not suede. it's alcaterra - sp?
i use prestone interior cleaner..... red bottle at wal mart with little plastic bristles on the end of the bottle.
I don't clean much though.....

alcanterra. and i don't clean it, i just vacuum it, if it needs it . . . and that's only the passenger seat. my recaro gets preferred treatment.
pretty much all i do is vacuum and clean the dash, etc., with stp sonofagun. nice, dull finish . . . that armor all crap will blind you!

Go to a shoe or leather store and get a suede brush. It does a great job. I would not recommend spraying much of any kind of cleaner on them.
I got the factory velour dash cover to get rid of the glare, and I never clean my dash.
I use McGuiar's Shine - funny that they called it that, because it leaves a satiny finish, not a shiny one.
And it's ALCANTRA.
