Last Night @ Famoso Raceway w/ the R
Last night a couple of friends, my brother and I headed down to Famoso Raceway to time our cars at the strip. There were only 3 of us timing our cars... My friend w/ a hatchback-LS/VTEC (Best time 13.1xx).... My brother w/ GSR (Best time 15.3xx--which is surprisingly not bad for a car that isn't even running right~bad VTEC solenoid)... and then me... It wasn't the first time for my friend, but it was for my brother and I... and all in all it was fun, but it's going to be awhile before I go out there again... I just wanted to see where I was at in the 1/4... We got in 4 runs and my best of the night was a 14.829 @ 95.01mph, which wasn't bad for me I think as a first timer out there, but I'm thinking I should be quicker, but oh well... And sorry for the long post...

Hey guys: John@M&H this is my home town, sorry I missed you. I am up here in sac-raceway trying to help some racers out but I am having a hard time reading the track I think the track will be better on sunday, were you guys running slicks and how big was car field, it looks like you guys had a good night GOOD LUCK John@M&H

No slicks for my brother and I.... we were just on street tires, but my friend ran on slicks... and it wasn't bad for some first timers... and that night was the high school drag - test & tune night... so there were a lot of muscle cars out there messing up the track--breaking down and what not.. they had to clean up the strip a couple of times taking up major time..
