Default Modifying b16a intake manifold to fit b18c1 head?

I'm about to swap in a b18c1 in place of my standard b16a.
I would prefer to run the b16a computer, given that it has rich fuel map, 8800rpm revlimit and no 180km cutout. However, using this will leave me unable to open/close the secondary butterflies on the b18 manifold...
So..
I was thinking about modifying the b16a intake manifold to fit the b18. Has anyone done this successfully? I can't seem to find much info on this (seems like people just can't be bothered and buy Skunk2 ones instead). Will I be able to get away with just cutting off the flange and welding on a flange to suit the b18c1 head?

Alright Bro, the way most of us should be thinking is: "lets do this the right way the first time so there will not have to be second." You are better off buying the skunk 2 manifold or hope that a ITR manifold appears cuz if you have not really found anyone that has done custom work to a manifold its probably because it is not a good idea. Trust get the Skunk 2 or ITR you will be happy.
By the way if you wanna get real crazy buy the AEM computer its worth the 1000 bucks.

The ITR manifold wont fit either, same pattern as B16

Xsi is right, the itr head is basically the same as the b16a head, not the b18c1, thus its a no go.

I have a spare b16a intake manifold which I don't mind hacking up. I have access to machine shop tools.

Living on the other side of the world, importing US made items such as the skunk2 manifold becomes expensive - once i pay shipping and tax, it becomes a rather expensive exercise.

Did you try Adam from AMG and NZhondas? he might be able to get you a deal on a Skunk2 manifold. Otherwise, I think I saw a few cheap B18C manifolds on the http://www.nzhondas.co.nz parts exchange but it's down atm.
I was reading a while ago that the B16a and b18C have different port sizes and positioning and it really wasn't worth trying to make them fit, I guess if you have a spare manifold and the right tools you could give it a go anyway.
Let me know if you have a spare IACV off a B16A2 or B18C since I'm after one to fit an ITR manifold
