Brake Light Bulb Replacement
I just noticed that the drivers side brake light bulb in my prelude is out. The light dosent come on when the car lights are on but does come on when I apply the brakes. I was just curious if anyone knew what # bulb I needed off the top of their head. Also could someone walk me though the install? Im sure its easy, but I looked in the trunk today and didnt see a real good way at getting to the bulb to replace it.
Thanks,

The tail light assembly has like 5-6 bulbs in it. You will have to take it off of the car to put the bulb in as well. Might as well just go down to the auto store, take off the assembly, and bring it in with you.
BTW, be very careful with the clip that holds on the trunk lining. They can be fragile, and also you don't want to drop it into the trunk.

is it the inner section or outter section of the light? I know my inner tail light on the pass side wasn't lighting up, but the brake light would. I just popped the tail light out, and it came on like it was just not making contact. IIRC the bulb was a 194 or 198, a real little thing
For a 5th gen 7443. you just pop the the tabs holding the carpet on and peel the carpet back. from there you should be able to twist the whole bulb housing out.
Here is a bulb list for the 5th gen:
