Yea I am Putting my 01 Type R head together.

Need to know what way the "rocker shaft" suppose to "slide in the rocker arms".


here are somes picture of how I think its suppose to go in..?
ANY TIPS ON PUTTING THE HEAD TOGETHER?

 

I am thinking I have to make it line up with these holes "in red" with the holes on the rocker shaft?

Those "holes in red" are the oil orifice holes. The rocker shafts are different for intake and exhaust side, make sure you have each one correct. They are indexed for the proper side up...it should show in the Helms manual, althought I've never flipped though one

 

They look absolutely the same to me.
Maybe because I am looking at the 92-93 GSR Helms
if you will be kind enough to send me a picture or link

 

92-93 gsr head is identical. rocker shafts are the same. oil control orifices are not.
You can tell which goes where bylooking at the underside of the cam caps
