why is ur sn veilsides2000 if ur deciding to get it or not...

 

I'd go with an s2000 unless if you're trying to go big hp then go for the 300zx. Although the looks of an s2k is a lot better than the 300zx

 

I'd go with the S2000. Don't get me wrong the Z is a really nice car. But for the money you would spend on a nice Z....I would much rather buy the S2000.

 

i have a friend at work who recently purchased a 300zx tt. everyday at work... 500hp this turbo that....
i'm sure for straightline speed and $/hp gain, a Z is great......
still.... I'd take an S hands down.
..although, keep in my mind..this thread is pretty biased...got to the Z forum, I'm sure the answers would be the other way around.
PS. Imho, there are 8million other bodykits that look better than the Veilside one..
PPS. You can get a 300ZX a lot cheaper than for the price of a used S.

 

I agree on the price difference....I just meant that I would take the money that I was going to buy the the Z and just put a nice downpayment on an S. I have seen a couple of TT Z's going for low to mid 20k's though.

no biggie though....I have my S and would not give it up for the world

 

In my opinion they are entirely different cars.. it all depends on what you want, not which car is better. Because each of those cars perform well in it's own category. The S2000 is a two seater, convertible roadster. The 300ZX is a power house dragster. Do you like to cruise through corners, or feel the surge of power beneath your feet?

Personally i would take the S2k any day of the week. It's newer, it looks better, technologically more advanced and i just don't give a rats about that sort of extra power you could get in the z.

 

get the s2k. but if you want a stright line fast car, get the 300zx, they have more potential for that kind of stuff. but i think the s2k is still pretty fast in a straight line too, and wonderful through corners. (get the S2k)

 

The Z looks way better than a S2k. WAY BETTER!!!

i completely disagree with you.

 

it's funny that you ask this on an s2k forum, of course the majority will say s2k... so i hope you asked this at a 300zx forum!

on a side note, i don't own either, nor do i know much about the performance of either, but i'd say 300zx if you're looking for something more unique, but s2k if you're looking for something that's more aggressive looking... i've seen some nice s2k's before.... even tho i only went to one meet, lol

Its all preference. I would take the s2k over the 300zx b/c there are many reasons I like the s2k but again its all preference both are great cars.

 

I drove both cars, I own an s2k. Much more fun to drive, and c'mon, drop top gets all the ladies!!

 

I have to agree, top down = P.I.M.P.
