Default Custom Stock Headlights

ok work with me here. I remember a thread a long time ago where a guy posted pics of his headlights that he somehow custom fit fog/driving lights into where the high beam would normally be. I want to know if he still reads the board how exactly he did that? I thought it was a very clean looking setup and wanted to know if he could give me some direction to doing something like that with mine.

Sorry I can't remember his name, but I know it was a white Accord with an H22 or H23, i believe it was boosted as well.

Well, I dont know exactly, but here's a link that shows you how to take apart the headlight:

I tried it one time, without following these directions, and f@*ked up a corner light. Never do it at 400 degrees for ten minutes.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by carolinaACCORD &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I tried it one time, without following these directions, and f@*ked up a corner light. 250F for 5 minutes, 8" from the bottom will do just fine

Obviously this can be done on any car that has regular headlights...does anyone know how much light is cut down by painting the housing black. Also I have a HID conversion kit and they are really bright was also wondering if this would reduce the light lost by painting it black as well. Any one recommend any colors for that true JDM look? Thanks again

there is no specific answer really. you will just have to open the headlights, and get whatever you are putting in to them and be creative.

heres a6 projectors in my headlights
