Default Hot weather start problem

When weather is hot 1988 has dificulty starting.

IT is your main relay, about 50 bucks, it is a block under the drivers side dash near the steering column. The same thing has happened to me on 2 different cars

you better bump that up to $70 from honda dealer. auto stores dont carry them

i have a deep cycle battery a have never had a problem. there about 175.00

mine has the same problem. 1993 accord lx.. whats the problem?????

99.9999999999999% of the time in 3rd and 4th gen accords that's the Main relay.

But a lot of times it's the ECT sensor. Try unhooking it and see if it starts, if it does, the problem is with your sensor.

thats carberated right. if so if it not the relay check for possible vaper lock. the fuel in the carb varperizes . if it starts fine at night when its cooler that could be the problem. not really sure what to do to correct the problem. if vaper lock isnt the problem go for the main relay.
