Default Engine Rebuild

Ok I am planning on getting an engine rebuild next year and I plan on buying parts for it in the meanwhile. I plan on buying new cams, pistons with all of the rings, rods. What else should I buy and How Much in general would this cost to get someone else to do it. I live in south east georgia. I also would like to make it a 1.9L with some bigger sized pistons. All replies will be very helpful than you!

hmmm...this is what i would do for N/A or turbo - resleeved cylinders to 84mm use, CRV sized pistons whatever compression...total seal rings...endyn (eagle) rods...rebuild the block right?

u said cams too....soo ur gonna work on the whole engine....depending on ur engine if its a vtec or not....how about sum ITR cams with adjustable camgears and a nice port and polish job......this is serious cash man.....

what are u rebuilding it for? FI? or just to make it like new?
pick a direction to go then we can help you...

Engine rebuilds are quite expensive. I've basically got mine rebuilt to itr specs, (just waiting for the piston install) and did maintenance check ups on belts, pumps. Something simple would be just changing your valvetrain to make it stronger(cams, retainers, springs, valves) get your head ported/polished. For the bottom end oversized pistons would be nice with new bearings. Get it balanced.
