Default B20B or B20Z crank in B18C5

Is it a good idea to put a B20B or B20Z crank (lightened and balanced) in a B18C5 block ?

Which rods can i use ? I am looking for rods with improved r/s ratio (rods that are longer than stock).

B18A/B/B20B/Z cranks are the same.
Some blocks require clearancing on the oil jets.
i personally wouldnt lighten the crank at all.

You would have to use b18a/b/b20b/z rods. I wouldnt worry about r:s ratio.
Power production is your first point of concern, something most people seem to forget.

Won't he experience clearance issues with the crank and the oil squirters?

</TD></TR></TABLE> Unless you plan on either moving the wrist pins on the pistons or adding a deckplate to the block, you will have to run LS rods. If you want to improve your R/S ratio get a smaller crank, but you'll lose power then.

I am looking for longer rods and pistons with moved up wrist pins.
