Default new brakes and rotors

I am in the need of a new set of brakes and rotors. I am looking into doing something more than the bare bone stock setup.

I would like to get a set of slotted/cross-drilled rotors and a good set of pads, but I am not sure what I should be getting....Any suggestions???

try powerslot rotors with either axxis or aem brake pads..the AEM brake pads stop at least 10 feet better than axxis according to AEM's website.

You should stick with a full face rotor instead of slotted and/or xdrilled, they're mostly just for looks and will technically have worse heat dissipation characteristics as opposed to a regular rotor, just get a set of good pads, i'd recommend axxis ultimates, great pad.

As for rotors it doesn't matter what kind you get...just don't get the drilled or slotted. Actually go cheap on the rotors and spend the money on a good set of pad. The pads will eat the rotors anyway, and it is cheap to replace rotors unless you buy expensive ones which will wear just as fast as the cheapies.
Pads, pads, pads

yeah, just get some regular rotors from autozone or napa or something. If you really want, Nopi has some pretty cheap brembo blanks.

I don't know why everyone is gungho about the AEM and Axxis pads. Get something good, like Hawk HPSs

I'm using brembo rotors all around along with Axxis Ultimate pads and a 15/16ths master cylinder from a '91 dx sedan, on my 93 si. Works pretty good so far although I haven't put them to their limits yet. It feels more solid than the stock setup and doesn't cost alot.
