Default Cat Flange sizes?

Hey,

From what I've seen in threads, it seems that althought the stock cat is a 2.25" ID, the flange size bolts up directly to a 2.5" Bpipe. Does anyone know about the other side of the cat, where it bolts up to the header, if that will bolt up to a 2.5" header as well?

Ie. Is the header flange size (not ID) the same as a JDM header?

Thanks!

No, the flange on the stock USDM cat. is too small to bolt to a JDM-sized header. And FWIW, the stock cat. is not 2.25" ID at either the inlet or the outlet.
