How high comp. with stock B20 sleeves?
i would guess 12.5:1 maybe even 13:1 would be reasonably safe with good tuning.........im sure you can go higher on the stock sleeves but your tuning would have to be pretty good allong with some good high octace fuel
11.5:1 to 12.5:1 with no problems yet... All stock sleeves, stock rods, with ARP rod bolts, Portflow heads, (OE cams, SK2, Toda, or JUN Killers), and either VAFC or Hondata tuning... One of my friend's Chan is running the 12.0:1 in his EJ6 and last year with a CTR IN cam and a VAFC (tuned on the streets by feel he did a 12.62@107... Now he has JUN Killers but we're still tuning the Honata... David with the 11.5:1 in his EH2 did a 12.50@108 last weekend but he has Toda B's which I really don't like and his tuned on Hondata... The 12.5:1 was in a Integra with a huge *** body kit (
in my opinion) but did a 12.93@107 last year with SK2ST2 cams and Hondata... The less overbore you can do with the B20B/Z the better you are off... I still wouldn't do it at std. bore so atleast go 0.25-0.50mm over... Just my $0.02, Good Luck!!!
