Anyway, the best answer to this is what's right for you. Both in terms of costs and parts availability... also what car you're putting it in. If your idea of best is maximum HP, then a built, turbo'd JDM Prelude Type S engine is probably what you want. But if you want cheapness, then a JDM B16A, or maybe a USDM D16Y6. It just all depends

Teg TypeR (B18C5). Best posible swap for a civic from a number of perspectives. 1. It's totally plug and play
2. It doesn't throw off the weight balance of the car
3. It has the highest output of any stock "B" series engine
4. It has the factory stock LSD (Thats "limmitted slip diferential", not something to get you high, although i guess it depends on what gets you "high")
