Default H22 JDM motor swap

Hey everyone, just got a quick question, well i'm swapping my motor in my 95 Prelude SE, to a H22 and the mechanic whos doing it ran it to one problem, the JDM motor does not have a place to put the knock sensor, as for the USDM motor it does. He said it won't be a big problem, just that sometimes I might hear a pinging noise should I be worried about that is there any solutions to it, anyone who's swapped their motor want to help me out here. Thanks

On my '94 JDM H22 - the knock sensor is located above the oil filter on the back side of the engine.

It should have a knock sensor. It is located near the cylinder head behind the motor.
