Default short shifter problem

i have a DC sports SS in my car and sometimes it grinds when i shift. I'm not even shifting hard just normal and it still grinds and sometimes i cant find the gears. at first it thought it was my clutch but i think its my SS. should i juss take it out and go back to stock or add some aftermarket bushings? I hate feeling the grinding in my tranny when i shift i feel like i'm gonan mess it up sooner or later. I've let other ppl drive my car and they all the have the same problem. Its like you have to shift perfect or something. Or mayb i juss have to get used to it. Its been my 2nd week driving it. But i dont want to ruin any synchros in my tranny.

I had the DC shifter for a little while in my R and it felt notchy, so I went back to OEM...never had a grinding problem...go back to OEM BTW, I also had the poly bushings...
