Euro/Japanese headlamps & corner lights
Maybe someone from outside of the US can help me out here.
In Europe the headlamp beam cutoff patterns are different, sometimes referred to as E-code. E-code is a far better design, throwing down more usable light without blinding other drivers.
I was wondering if the Integras over there (that look like our G3) use a different reflector assembly? I would definitely want to try and get some for over here.
My second question is this. In Japan (probably Europe too), the Integras came with clear corners as OEM equipment. I've seen some pictures and noticed something interesting.
It looks as iff there are actually 3 bulbs. There is a side-indicator light like ours, but the portion of the lens that is a flasher bulb is actually smaller. There is an additional bulb stuck in between the side indicator and the blinker.
Here's a rough diagram:
Side------------>------------->-------------->Front
SIDE INDICATOR EXTRA UNKNOWN BLINKER
Anyone know anything about this?

I actually prefer a stepped cutoff beam pattern to the E-code upward slash beam pattern. One guy on VWVortex actually modified his projectors to get rid of the upward slash pattern:

As far as the bumper lights, I don't know what you're talking about. USDM Integras had a small parking light in the side, and a combo parking/turn signal bulb in front. From what I've seen, European Integras have only the small parking light in the side, and only turn signal in front. Japanese Integras (94-95) had only a turning signal in front (not sure about parking light), and nothing in the side piece, as far as I know.

The bumper lens thing.....I have a picture of a Euro ITR and you can clearly see it.
And you're saying that the 93-94 JDM Integra (only two years it had the round headlamps) has a bumper lens with one bulb, no sidemarker piece?

Does the bumper lens appear clear on the outer part, then amber in the middle, then clear towards the inner part? If so that's probably just the angle of the picture. Euro-spec Integra bumper lenses (at least 98+ models) just had clear lenses, with an amber cap over the turn signal inside (similar to USDM 94-97 bumper lenses but w/o the amber reflector), and it was probably just the angle of the pic that made it look like how I just described it.
I would post some pics from this one website but it's on Geocities
http://www.geocities.com/Motor...e.htm
Look at the pic in the 2nd column, 6th pic down.
Now look at the 3rd column, 1st pic.
See how they look different depending on the angle of the pic.
