my friend bought the JDM EF front end conversion for his CRX

parts were kinda scratched up and it took like a month or two
but everything worked.
also they didn't have his hood instock so they gave him a VIS CF hood.... BUT... the latches didn't fit cause he had a jdm bumper and he used hood pins and then his hood flew off and busted his windshield.

i also have multiple friends who have bought their swaps from password with no bad experiences yet.
buddy also bought a jdm front end for an EF... was fiven the whole front suspension, radiator, support... everything he could need and more. the body parts are in fair condition and well worth the price.

Is that usually the case when ordering with them? I like their prices on the items they featrure, but I can get impatient if I wait that long.

Steve @ password was an *** on both occassions that i went there. I did get a EF9 front end conversion from there for 540$ out the door, but it did take a lil while for them to get their "shipment". My friend is trying to get his front end from them too but man is it taking FOREVER. They keep tellin him they will have a "shipment" coming in 2 weeks, but they tell him that everytime he calls...haha The parts do have dings and dents on them but like someone else said these parts are USED and im sure they dont get handled with the best of care.

Steve at Password JDM is a cool guy. I guess a lot of Honda-Techer's are out of state, so they don't have the chance to meet up face-to-face with some of these cats.

I went there today to buy some JDM DA6 One piece headlights, and Steve made sure his employees showed me 5 different sets to make sure I was satisfied with at least one of them. Other places in Southern Cali were charging me $125 + trade for some; I ended up buying a pretty good set for $150 (no trade required).

The HL's came with all the bulbs, hardware/brackets, and sockets. Steve also took the time to show me exactly how to configure the USDM wiring to the JDM versions.

As far as the "condition" of some of the merchandise sold at PWJDM, or for that matter, any JDM junkyards, the cars are OVER TEN YEARS OLD. They will not be perfect. My lights had a few hairline scratches, but Steve showed me how easy it was to remove them with 3M polish. I could have bought new HL's for $450, but these are pretty close to new, and I saved $300.

i've heard mostly good things about them, and you said you'd heard some bad things about them, that is because someone on here (Homer J Simpson i think) that owns another jdm parts site made up stories about him being terrible

do a search for Homer J Simpson's thread in GDD. There seem to be a few guys that are severely dissatisfied w/ the service from P:JDM. Then do a search in Best Buys about them, and you'll see a lot of guys ranting and raving about them. I'd give them a call, and if they have the engine in stock, I'd get it from them. I've heard horror stories of having to wait months for a swap after paying in full though.

its really hard to find a superl egit company these days , most buisnesses only realy car about customer service for the first year or till they get a reputable name , hmotorsonline ust to have a great name when they first started , but now the rep is ok and the service isnt bad but isnt as solid as it ust to be

password steve sounds like a very legit guy , but when you start becoming big you dont make every transaction (with other employees working shipping and pulling parts for orders ) you start get to busy and the customer service kinda gets lost , also the parts are mostly used and some jdm shipments he might have super clean motors and body parts and sometimes not the best , but i think if they know that the body parts have scrathes and slight dents they should tell the buyer and offer a discount , the thing i dont like about password is that all there prices jumped up on swaps and motors and the service is going down ,these are just my opinions and when i do buy stuff from hmotors or password i drive the 2 hours to pick out the parts i want , i know that all members dont have this advantage , my advice just make sure you ask lots of questions when you call , do u have it in stock? what condition are the bumpers scrathes dents ? ect ect

VERY TRUE. Steve @ password got, well i guess u can say mad at me when i wanted to see the EF front ends that he had so i caould buy the one thats in better condition. All the front ends were right there on the floor and he just wanted to give me the first one that was in front him (BTW is was a fuked up looking one). Also VERY TRUE that their prices jumped up big time. EF front ends are no more 499$, they're now 600-650$ without a front lip(60$ extra)!

Steve is a business man. He goes to japan and buys those parts from Junk yards ( not that there is nothing wrong with that ) but he buys them for dirt cheap and sales them for a large profit here in the U.S..

My expireince at password goes:

There was a fucked up beat to hell C-west front bumper laying on the floor and I thought I could use that bumper to go Auto-crossing intead of my other bumper. The bumper was craked, not to mention that it was cut out for an intercooler. I thought I could pic it up for like $100. Nope not happening they wanted $350 for that fucked up bumper. Man I was hot . I could not believe they wanted that much for it. I wish I had a pic to show you all. It was rediculous.

To tell you the truth I thought the parts were new until I saw his wharehouse of second hand parts. I didn't know how he got or even picked the parts. The man actully flies to Japan and picks the parts he wants to ship back to the U.S. .

Some one asked me if I wanted to roll to a JDM shop. I think cool a place where I can buy brand new stuff for my ride. I go and see all kinds of **** all over the place everything he was selling was used. At first I was like but then he told me how he did his business and I was like O.K. then I saw the bumper and the rest is already in my original post.

I didn't know about his website till after I visited the place or else I would have expected it to be like a Flea market but, for car parts when I visited.
