94 sohc vtec in a 93 accord
runs out of power about 5000 rpm, cant figure it out. could it be the map sensor, it wont even hit the rev limiter. i have all the vtec wires run and am using the 94 ex ecu, what is wrong?
my F22B2 is very happy to rev up to 6300 rpms... sounds like he might have some fuel delivery problems or something is not wired right....
I would double check all of your work and make 100% sure that you did plug in your sensors and everything is as it should be....

sounds to me like vtec isnt enguaging... the low cam on the B1 head is totally worthless past like 4000rpm. Have you verified your oil level and that jazz? When I did my head swap I had to remove the solenoid and TOTALLY clean it out... it had gunk in it. It was working enough not to throw a code 21 or 22, but wasnt letting enough oil in to enguage the lifter locks.
