Default Whats up with an old w6?

does anybody have a w6, like an old one. i bought a sub in a box, and for a long time did not have a good enough amp to really power a real w6! SO now i got a fat *** amp, and i want to know if they are a dual voice coil, and what ohm does it run at?

it's dual voice coil, but you can't tell the impediance unless you test it or you find out from who you bought it, best way would probably just be to hook it up in a box parallel and in stereo and see which one sounds better

W6's have dual 6 ohm voice coils. Wired in parallel 3 ohms. Wired in series 12 ohms.
